Penny Park Earth Day

Dance, explore and learn at the
2007 Earth Day Celebration in Penny Park!
 Join us on Saturday, April 21 at our annual Earth Day Celebration!
As usual we’ll have many community booths with information about
earth-friendly, community oriented organizations, activities, and
businesses. Booths will have kid-friendly information and
activities. The Native Plant Socitey, one of our sponsors, will have
plants from its annual sale available for pick-up, and other local
growers will have plants available for purchase. The festivities
start at 10 a.m. and will continue all day, with the following
special events scheduled:
- 11 a.m.: Sunshine Generation Dancers
- 12 p.m.: Suzuki Percussion
- 2 p.m.: Recycled Fashion Show—strut your stuff in clothes you make of reused items. Bring your costume to the event or see the Big Brothers Big Sisters booth for ideas. In the amphitheater.
- 3:15 p.m.: Stardancers
- 3:30 p.m.: Puppet Parade around the neigborhood. Contact Jamie Thompson at 534-9040 to participate.
- 7 p.m.: Movie screening in the amphitheater
