 Our park was built with contributions of money, materials and labor from our community. Think about what a wonderful place Penny Park is for family picnics, birthday parties, play groups, and visits with grandchildren. Think about what you’d like to see in the park in the future—a community garden, a grove of fruit trees, lighting in the amphitheater — the possibilities are endless!
How do we make these possibilities a reality? Community members like you make them happen! Penny Park continues to operate through contributions from our entire community. Like public radio and public television, the more you’re able to give the better our park will be!
Many of our plans for 2006, including the volleyball court build coming up in June and the Summer Music Program, are supported by membership donations.
Please do your part in making our community’s dreams a reality by renewing or establishing your Penny Park Membership.
Your membership goes to support:
- Maintaining the park, re-sealing the infrastructure, keeping it weed-free and trash-free
- Organizing events like Earth Day and the Summer Music Program
- Developing new infrastructure, such as the bathrooms, a volleyball court, and the skateboard park
- Pursuing new ideas that come from our members!
